This Week’s Aims

Posted on Sunday, September 10th, 2006

Last time I wrote down what I aimed to do in a week, I only managed one part of the checklist. This time will be better.

This week I will be sorting several things out on this site as well as posting some tasty bits of code, let’s see what’s in store:

  • XML parser in PHP
  • Examples of things to do with XML
  • Cleaning up the mess of the latest new design
  • Another new design, this one with a bit of meaning
  • Fix the contact form
  • Plugin frenzy

If there is anything you want to see, related to any of those points, then please leave a comment (as the contact form isn’t working). I especially want to hear what the best Wordpress plugins that I haven’t got are. Help me make my blog wonderful! What plugins do you use? What plugins do you wish you had? What plugins do you wish I had and would help you use my site? Let me know and I’ll be looking into it soon.

I also like to tweak and mod my blog, digging into those great plugins that add so much functionality.

For the best plugins I’ve seen, I’ve written posts on them:
    Spotmilk
    AMM

As for the others, there are so many but the most important I wouldn’t let my blog without:
    gravatars2
    brian’s latest comment
    kgarchive
    akismet
    more smilies
    ryan duff wordpress contact form.

Good mod here and hope you might find many nice ones your blog would be loving to host.

    Hi Hans!

Thanks for the links! I’ll check them out, the Amazon affiliate one looks good, I’m thinking of trying something similar myself sometime.

Tweaking blogs really is fun and slightly addictive!

Tweaking a blog is hugely addictive :D

I’m always looking to add new things to my site, as I did today.

I make plenty of lists to do things Phil, just never seem to get more than 1 or 2 in the list done :|
